Here is the fabric i bought for a boy.

I bought some red for the pram and i think it would be cute for a girl too... we will have to wait and see i guess!

I also bought this gray just for fun, a boppy cover?

I crack myself up!

So today, i am singing in the car to "Old Time Rock and Roll" by Bob Segar when i remembered that the baby learns the mom's voice in the womb and can hear her... so i just started DYING laughing.  Seriously Dogs would be HOWLING at me if they heard me singing so... my poor poor baby! lol  He/She will come out completely tone deaf or annoyed with me. lol!

Nick says the baby was either in there dancing or plugging his ears!  (yes, he says his)

I am planning on installing some snaps on the inside so i can recover the fabric.  

Everything is in perfect condition but if it's a boy i think i will do blue gingham or airplanes or something and if it's a girl i will do paisley or something else fun!  Birds?

6 weeks on Saturday!

Your baby has grown to ⅛ inch long—about the size of one of the chocolate sprinkles on your last cupcake (and your last ice cream cone, and your last sundae and your last giant cookie ... maybe there is something to those rumors about pregnancy cravings!).

Who's baby is this?

So i am OFFICIALLY giving birth to Nick's baby!  

hehe... that sounds funny

No for real, i haven't wanted to eat anything except turkey/veggie wraps or cottage cheese for the past two weeks!

Today, i was driving around base munching on....

FRESH GREEN BEANS... what?

Sure i am healthy food sounds good but i thought this baby might be a LITTLE more fun!

I ate a snickers... and then lost it!  WHAT!

I can't even indulge in chocolate!  What is the world coming to?

lol, no it feels good knowing that this is actually what i want to eat, that exercising sounds good and not like torment, that water sounds FANTASTIC all the time!

So... i bought a few different butters for my belly... and i am hoping that they are all fantastic and well worth it, i feel stupid stocking up on so much lotion just to TRY and avoid stretch marks but i feel it is worth it.  So here we go...

How we found out:

I woke up and took the test, it came out positive so i called Nick, he didn't answer and i took this as a sign that i should tell him in at least an attempted cool way... so i took a shower

I checked that the test was still positive about 3 more times before leaving the house.

I wanted to get baby balloons and tie them to "What to Expect When You are Expecting" and surprise him while he was teaching.

My plan was foiled.

The Bx did not have the book, the craft store was closed and the flower shop was out of helium.

I bought some baby colored balloons and held them in my hand :(

THEN our camera stopped working right when i was trying to tell him... so no picture of us crying...

because we both did! :)
